You know the term time flies when your having fun?? Well I discovered how time can fly faster than that.... this week has flown! Usually my fist week in a new area drags on forever but this week no! A lot happened this week and I'm not sure if I will be able to get it all down! haha

Well I just have to say that I love Cabildo! It is a great area! This was the first time that I came into an area that actually already had people progressing! In my other areas I usually show up just as the "well" dries out! haha But this area is great! We live in downtown Santiago but more of our area branches out into areas with dirt roads. We have a ton of investigators and we keep finding more!

2 investigators that I want to talk about is O________ and  M__________. O___________ is 30 years old mas o menos. He believes that the church is true and everything but the last time he was preparing and the day before his baptismal interview his dad passed away. That was in February. After that it has just been hard for him to get baptized. Well this week he accepted the day for 19 of April. M____________ is his girlfriend! She is great! She went to the General Woman's Conference with us on Saturday and she absolutely loved it! She said that she can't wait to go to general conference!!! They really are great! I pray that they will continue to keep going with this determination to do the right!!!

We also have another investigator named Y___________. We contacted her in the street and received her address and said that we would pass by another day. We passed by this week and she told us that she had been praying everyday to God that he would send us to her home soon! She has a big heart and a great desire to learn more. We have an appointment with her tonight so we will see how this goes!!!

I can't believe that general conference is next weekend!!!! This is my last one in the mission!!! That is so sad!!!! The mission really has just flown by!!! Ttoday in my email I got my trunky papers. Trunky is a term used by missionaries meaning that if your homesick or ready to go home your called "trunky" and the trunky papers is when we get our information about how we need to start preparing for our return home. We get these papers when we have 6 months left..... I really want to cry!!
It says that my 2 suitcases can only be 23 kilos in total. That is about 50 lbs for both of them together. Not sure but my smaller one of the two the handle broke so I am thinking that I will leave it here and just take home the bigger suitcase with in being 23 kilos. What do you think? Or should I bring them both home for future use??? Let me know what you think.

So sorry that you guys have been sick! That's not fun at all! I felt crummy yesterday too but that is just because the food here in Santiago doesn't settle well in my stomach... but it is nothing to worry about! haha

I really love Hermana Garibay! She is a great missionary! This is her 4th transfer in the mission. Her last companion was really mean and in lessons never allowed her to talk. Only testify! It is sad because she is so good at teaching! When she told me that I really didn't believe it. At one point about 1 week before transfers she had the feeling of going home! But I got here and she is always just so happy!

Everyone keeps calling me the happy pill! haha

Sorry no fotos this week. We are using a cyber that doesn't allow me to use a usb.... yea we are going to fine a new cyber next week.

Well I am running out of time like usual but I want you to know how much I love this work and love you all!!

Sorry I will have something a little more spiritual to write you next week!

Love you lots!!!!!

Goodbye Hermana Hanks

So this is kind of a shock and I am still getting over it but here is the biggest news for this week.....

Today was transfers and just as I had guessed, Hermana Hanks got transferred.... It was so sad! I honestly love that girl so much! She brought so much joy into my mission and into my life! I have been so blessed to have made so many best friends here and the thing that I love about Hermana Hanks... she lives in Bountiful, she is going to be easier to track down! haha!

Well she is not the big shocker for the week.... the big shocker for the week is me.... I GOT TRANSFERRED TOO!!!!! I was only in Labanda for 6 weeks!!! It is really weird. I am still in Santiago but I am 20 minuets away from Labanda. I am in downtown Santiago.  The area is called Cabildo. My new companion is Hermana Garibay! Ella es de Peru!! I am having fun getting companions from all over the South American continent! She has 4 months in the mission and has a lot of heart to learn and progress! Her last companion wasn't very obedient and the good thing is that she knows that so she is just excited to start over a new transfer! I have not been able to work here yet so there really isn't anything to say about the work in Cabildo. But I can tell you what happened in Palermo.

Well I was working in the area of Palermo 1 and we also had Elders in our ward that worked in the area of Palermo 2.  Well the elders have so much work it is not even crazy and our work just kept dwindling less and less. It was really sad! Thank goodness that Hermana Hanks was my companion because she really kept my spirits up! The last week all of the people that we had been talking to or teaching had just disappeared off the face of the earth! It was so frustrating! We honestly had NO ONE to teach!! Well I had actually had a dream Thursday night that Palermo 1 (our area) was going to close. The freaky thing about that, is that's just what happened! Palermo 1 closed!!!! Now those elders have all of our recent converts! The hardest thing was is that as soon as we were told that we had transfers my first thought was L_____________! We called her immediately! She was so sad! She was out of town so we couldn't go and see her. R__________was also really mad. Maybe this will help him realize how much he really wanted us there! Well if he wants to be taught the elders can teach him!

I first started thinking that transfers wasn't going to be a surprise for me because I always get a new companion but this one just threw me thru the loop!

Well I am extremely tired! Because we both had to pack and get everything ready for the elders, we didn't go to bed until 4 in the morning and then we had to be in the bus station for Hermana Hanks at 7:30 and then I went to my area! I am basically a typing zombie right now!

Cabildo is really nice. My companion said that it is the richest part of downtown..... Tres Cerritos here we go again! haha. It should be fun! But I am actually really excited because this is one of the first times that I am about to work in an area that already has work to be done! It's kinda nice.

I will be honest. Yesterday I did feel bad that my areas was closed. I was the last missionary to work there and I wasn't able to save it. Satan was trying to get into my head but then we had a lesson that was really bad. We were teaching a couple about the Book of  Mormon and the man said that we were going to h*%& because we are inviting him to read it.... ok well actually this is the book that's going to get you as far away from there, but every time we testified of the truth he would lash at us. Well I had an experience that was really interesting. As he was talking I could feel a dark presence around him. It was horrible! His eyes were black and his face had no color. I kept praying as he talked that I could receive the words to tough his heart, but all at once I had a thought that clearly wasn't mine. The thought said. "he is not going to believe the truthfulness of our words. He has chosen to listen to the evil around him. Why are you still here?" I know that this was the spirit. At this moment we closed the lesson, shook the dust off our shoes, left our testimonies that will be used at the judgement bar, and walked away. Its times like this that I just love missionary work!

I am so proud of Kenzee!!!!! OH CANADA!!!! I really love it! I now have the Canadian kilted yacksman song from Ren and Stimpy in my head! hahaha love it! She really will do amazing there!! I am so proud of her!!!!!

Can't think of anything I want of need for the package.

Well I got to go!

Know that I love you and that I pray for you every day!!!}

Love you long time!!

Ok I feel absolutely horrible that this letter will be short!

My stupid computer deleted my letter that I was writing and now I am frantically trying to write. I really only have like 5 min to write.

So this week was good. We found new people to teach.
I have been learning little by little that the savior knows me and that he knows my situations. I have been getting to know him personally and one thing that has stood out to me is that He has a personality. It really has been a great thing to know.

Well I have been out a year and I have learned a lot. On my letter that I was writing had a list of 52 things that I have learned in 52 weeks. And that is when I lost my email and my time. But I guess what I really have come to know that the most important thing to know is that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the TRUE church and has the everlasting gospel! It is not just that the church is true but it is the Gospel that is in it! I know it is true. I know that I am a daughter of God and that my Daddy in the heavens knows me perfectly. I know that I have a purpose in this life and in this mission. I love the mission and everything about it. At times I cry in frustration and sometimes I cry I am laughing so hard, but I do know that this work is the work of the Lord!

I am so blessed to be here and to have been apart of the things I have seen and learned the past year! It really has been the hardest, frustrating, stressful year of my life, but it has been the most rewarding because I have come to know and love the Savior's atonement!

Again I am so sorry that this letter is short but know that I love you and pray for you all!!!!

Congrats dad on the new calling! Stay strong and keep going! I have to back God up on that one! Do FHE every week and read as a family! Grandma says in all her letters to me to Smile! I guess God wants you top do that too! I know you can do it! Love you!!!

Congrats Kenzee!!! I really am so proud of you!! The mission will change your life!!! You will be amazing!!!!!!

LOVE YOU ALL!!!

WOW! I am at my year mark!!!!!  I felt like this day would never get here but it happened so fast!!!!

Well I really don't have a whole lot that happened this week. I got over my nervous breakdown. It was just a combination of stress of a lot of things occupying my mind.

Right now we are on the hunt. After the baptism of L_______________ we kinda lost everybody. People lost interest, we couldn't find them. We couldn't find anyone if fact! So like I said we are on the hunt. We are looking for new people to teach and I feel like I am in Tres Cerritos again. Knocking on doors and people not being interested, but I guess that is just missionary work in general.

I really don't remember what happened this week that I really could tell you guys.... this is kind of sad! haha I guess I can tell you the list that me and my companion have made that is called... Only in Argentina...
1. There is no carpet. just tile floors. When we clean the floor we throw a bucket of water on the ground and use a Squigi thing to push it to the drain on the floor.

2. Because there is no carpet, there are no such things as vacuums.  Instead their lawnmowers are plugged in and they mow their lawn.

3. There is dog poop everywhere because there is a population of dogs that live in their own community among us.
4. The other day a kid was pooping in the street. (After that I am not quite sure if all the poop on the ground is from the dogs.)

5. The keys look like we went back in time 100 years.

When I think of more I will let you know because that is just the start of it! haha

Well this is just sad that I really have NO updates for you! Nothing has changed!

I keep thinking back thinking that something happened this week that was interesting but their really wasn't!

Oh I do remember one! haha it was funny!

Alright we were on divisions and I was working with Hermana Agudelo  and we were in her area. They have an investigator named A___________ and his mom. His mom is really, really old and the whole time we taught she was talking about something that happened when she was a girl. She talked and talked and talked but __________ said that that is normal so we just need to ignore her.... ok. Well he had inherited his talking ability from his mom and we taught with the 10 commandments. we would say 3 words and then he would say something. I was biting so hard on my lip from not laughing! I ended up biting so hard my lip was bleeding and to myself I thought what else could happen. I look around and the Elders where walking to us! We were waiting for them because they had to do a baptism interview. So they sat down and taught the lesson with us. Keep in mind that the mom is still talking.  It really was the craziest lesson I have ever done! hahaha

I started crying when I saw the pictures of Conner! He is so different!!!!!!! I really can't believe it!  and KENZEE POO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for her!!!!!!!! I can't wait to know where she is going!!!!!!!

Well I love you all so much and miss you more!!!

OH! I am just so excited for general conference!!! This is my last one in the mission!

Now is the time to start preparing spiritually for conference! Start praying and asking Father in Heaven your questions and he will tell his prophet and apostles what to say!!!

I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!1

Youth activity night

My district

A river - No a street - No a river street

Hola Familia!!! como estas¿?¿?¿?

Ok I totally spaced on telling you!
M___________ and A_____________ GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!! It was on the 22! The same day as L_____________! Because that was 2 weeks after transfers, they are still considered my converts!!!!! I am so happy for them! I am so sad that I wasn't there but to honestly see what they had to go through then to hear that they got baptized!?!?!?!? Let's just say that I am really happy!!!  And because they live in Tres Cerritos, I will be able to see them my last day in the mission!!!!! We can write our converts in the mission and we are planning it out that I can see them before I go!
Ok to answer you. I am no longer sick! I started laughing so hard with all you questions! I am starting to think that I can't tell you anything that happens! haha No that's a lie, I will always tell you everything!  Yes I was a little sick.  It is because of the food here in Argentina. Hermana Levrino said that it is really normal that the Americans have problems with the food here. It is because it's weird food and our bodies are not used to it. But I am all better now and I now know how to buy pills here!
Ok so about L__________ and her family! In the beginning with Hermana Hanks and her companion, they were teaching her husband R___________ and L__________. but then one day R__________ digo que he doesn't want to listen anymore and that he now wants to attend the Evangelic church.... it's weird... he is really friendly and he really reminds me a lot of dad. He likes us a lot and has no problem with us. Well we had a lesson with L___________ the other day and she said that she wants to ask R____________ to listen to us again. In her closing prayer she asked Padre Celestial to open the heart of R______________ that he can accept these things. We then found out that the next day he began to ask a lot of questions to L___________ and she answered them!!!! I think that he will turn around! haha

I honestly have no idea how Hermana Barrientos is doing. I haven't received a letter from her, so I am not sure.... I pray she is doing fine!

Ok so with Hermana Hanks, we have a blast! I absolutely love this girl!! So to answer your question it we talk in Spanish of English.... it is a mix of both. We are making our own little language with it! haha. No the truth, we are talking a lot more in English but we need to stop. I was in the store today and when we checked out I talked to the girl in English without even realizing it!! You should have seen the look on her face! hahaha but it made me feel bad! That the Spirit had been working so hard on me to help me learn the language and I am not using it. So I am making the goal that the next time I speak in English is when I talk with you on mothers day!
Yes you are right, the weather has cooled down a lot. This whole week we have had rain and the streets have been replaced with rivers! I was happy that I could actually use my clothes more for the winter season but the problem is, I feel really frumpy in my clothes.... I feel like they are a little..... baggy saggy! haha but I will last with my wardrobe another 6 months...... I think....... if my skirts end up around my ankles while I am in the streets I'll let you know!

I HATE THE SIESTA!!!!!! I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT!!!! The whole country shuts down and there is absolutely nothing to do!!!! I can't even talk about it without getting mad! haha

I got an email that the office has a package for me. Not sure how many but I know at least one. I should receive it Wednesday.

So for another note this week I kind of had a nervous breakdown the other day. I have found that I have still not gotten over my fear of bugs. Well we have cockroaches and that not only have the infested the kitchen, but the have infested my mind! I have been so grossed out to find them crawling over the counters and over the plates that I literally took everything out of the kitchen and we cleaned! It really was disgusting! We used 3 cans of Raid and a ton of hot water! I can count how many we killed and just when we thought we got all of them, my companion sprayed the kitchen again and it was like we had not  killed any of them! I was so done!!!!! I was so occupied and worried about it, then our fridge door fell off and we weren't teaching very much... I had a lot on my mind and let's just say that I kinda broke. Not broke in a crying way but one day I was just numb and honestly couldn't focus on anything. It was hard but I have found my reliever,

the scriptures!
I have received so much comfort through the scriptures that I could begin to feel the love of the Lord and of Padre Celestial.
It is now my turn to ask y'all a question.... how is your reading doing??? A re you reading as a family? Are you reading individual? If the answer is no,

THEN WHY THE HECK ARE YOU READING MY LETTER???? PUT IT DOWN AND READ THE SCRIPTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean it! Read them! NOW!!!!!!!
I know they are real! They have the word of God and you will be blessed! I can only testify of it because I have experienced it for myself but I want you to know it to!!!

I love you all and miss you more!!

Hermana Creason

PS! I have 1 year next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
