Hey there!!

Wow you had a busy week! We did too! First off, I hope that you didn't worry so much when you didn't hear from me on Monday. I was talking to a member and I said that you might worry then she was all like I will call her and chat with her! She was sweet! Well our P-day was moved to today (Wednesday) Our mission president wanted us to go and tract on Monday to find families because mostly everyone was home. No luck.... We didn't find one family or new person to teach. Plus ____________dropped us.... But I do have a miracle!

We met a woman as we tried to contact a potential. Her name is _____________. She has been our miracle.  She smokes but seriously wants to stop. She takes care of her grandchildren ages 10-4. There are 5 of them. Sweet children, anyway, the parents of the kids wanted the kids for the summer but ___________ didn't know what day they would leave. We taught her the restoration on Friday and we stopped by to see her and give her the restoration DVD on Sunday, she didn't know we where coming. So when we got to her house on Sunday, it was when they were saying good bye because they where going to their parents. We asked ___________ if she wanted us to go, and she said that she wanted us to stay. Before the kids left, we left a blessing with them of peace and comfort. Tears and hugs were shared before the kids got in the car to leave. _____________was having a hard time with it, but she said that we were the last people she would have thought she would have seen that day, but she knew that God sent us to her at the moment she needed us. It was very touching and she plans to come to Church with us on Sunday! She is a wonderful woman and I know that she is such a great example to her grandchildren! She has not been committed to baptism yet but we plan on it in the next lesson :) Keep her in your prayers! Heavenly Father has soften her heart and it really needs to stay that way!

Lately I have felt very anxious. I think because transfers are next Wednesday and I don't want to leave! I want to stay in Cochran! haha! Who knew that Aleece would want to stay in a small town?!?! haha no but really! I have grown so attached to the people here. I mean It's extremely hard because __________is our ONLY investigator. But we have 7 less actives that I love SOOOO much!! And the members are great! But I have a feeling that I won't be here next transfer... :( This work is hard but so worth it!

Another thing this week is we are getting ready for new missionaries coming to Cochran next transfer. Elders...... They are going to have a set of Sisters and a set of Elders.... So this week me and Sister Snyder have been getting a lot of stuff ready for that. Finding a place to stay, dividing the area, dividing the ward, and on and on and on! Its exhausting! I didn't think that I would be doing stuff like this on my mission! haha! but it will be good I guess....

OH YEAH!!! So the other sisters (Sister McRae and Sister Dias) did companion splits with Sister Buckholz! So Sister McRae went with Sister Buckholz's companion and she came here with Sister dias! It was so great to have her here with us! But really weird because I had her and Sister Snyder here.... year someone say awkward... haha jk no it was great!

Well its getting hot and humid here... HUMID!! It's disgusting!!! but everyone says that we haven't got to the worst of it.... YUCK!!!

Sounds like you have a good week. Yeah I would say go back to Pony Baseball next year. It's funny because when I read you letter about the umpire doing another inning I thought in my head of mom was probably climbing over the fence, then I kept reading and you said that you were about to! I Laughed so hard... I'm laughing now! haha I just know you too well mom ;)

No news on Visa. No one from my district in the MTC has it either :(
Yard work huh? Well I have to tell you something..... I was at a members home for dinner and
she is from Chili. She made us a sandwich covered in stuff. something in the sandwich..... a tomato.....
yes I ate a tomato..... nothing else to say. hahaha

So something that I read the other day that I have fallen in love with D&C 98:1-3
Read it!!!
I know that God hears our prayers and He has promised that He will answer them but there is a key
word in there.... did you catch it?
"Waiting Patiently" I have Faith that God will answer my prayers and yours but
Faith in God INCLUDES Faith in His timing! so wait patiently because his answer is coming :)
Well that's all for now! I hope that You have a great week! Love you and miss you!

THANK YOU FOR THE PICTURES!! I was hoping that me sending you some, would get you to send me some.... hahaha Looks like you had a lot of fun!

So this week has been NUTS and I hope that I will get to tell you all about it, but I might have to write some later... sorry really running out of time today!

So this week, I told you about __________ how she kinda dropped us, well on Monday, she called us and apologized and wanted to have lessons. Great right?! Well until we show up to her door and no one answers... go the next day, not home.... Its like this for the rest of the week. We finally got to her house and her son answered the door. He said that She was hung over..... WHAT?!?!?! UGH!!!! It was so disappointing! BUT WE REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON HER!! She is so ready to be baptized! well she was ready...

Another thing that happened. I told you about ______________. She is the one who had cancer and her and her husband got to go to the temple early and be sealed. She passed away on Monday. Her Funeral was on Tuesday. We have been working a lot with her husband and reading the scriptures with him. His testimony is so strong and he has only been a member since October! I don't know why I was sent here to Georgia but if I was to leave tomorrow, I honestly believe that I was sent here to witness this miracle. To witness people who are truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ! It is such a privilege to have witnessed something that beautiful and that wonderful!

We keep getting dropped and we have only taught lesson 1 and 2 to people. We have not made it to anyone that is willing to take more lessons. Its frustrating.

I had a Zone meeting on Thursday and it was all about miracles and that they do happen. It was really good and it got me more pumped up to find our own miracles. Also Sister Buckholz is in my Zone!! It was so good to see her again! I miss her a lot! So the next day we went tracking with no luck and we were just about done. We decided to knock on one more door before we went home and it was a mom that wanted direction in her life and that she feels stuck and she doesn't know why.... uhhhh I KNOW WHY!!! Well we told her that we can help her and wee are seeing her on Tuesday! MIRACLE!!!

Lots more has happened but I can't talk about everything and time prevents me from doing so :(

YES! Send the CDS. We have a player here. We actually have to have one because we have certain things we listen to everyday, plus we can listen to them in the car :)

Kenzee graduating?? That makes me feel old! Yeah the letter is in the box, but its old now so no biggie :)

I love hearing about the temple! It is torture to be here without one! I am 2 hours away from it! Never again will I take the temples in the valley for granted again! It's so hard because in the MTC we went to the temple every week but here! NOTHING!!! UGH!!! hahaha but I'm glad that you had a good time and a very neat experience!! Did you get all defensive when you heard him in your ear? I think that having it in my ear, would make my defense worse ;)

Well I love you more that words can say and I miss you more than a fat kid wants cake :)

HOLA Y'ALL

haha the subject of my letter cracks me up!!!
Hola (spanish)
Y'all (southern)

HAHAHAHAHAHA

ok actually it's kinda dumb...

OK lots to tell you this week!!

First off just want to let you know that when the Lord humbles you..... it's like getting hit with a spiritual brick.... it hurts, but then he puts a band aid on it and sends you back to work. Basically that happened to me this week. Last week end was SO rough! But I guess that comes with missionary work. I was in a foreign area and feeling completely and utterly hopeless. And then on top of that we have not been able to see ANY of our investigators this week. They are all out of town! How do 4 people just happen to be out of town for a week and how do those 4 people end up being our investigators?!?! it's NUTS ;) Well all me and my Companion do is laugh about it :) Almost ALL of our plans have fallen through this week but it has been a neat experience to be guided by the spirit because I can testify that we have been lead to people that need us at that moment. My companion and I have recognized the spirit guiding and directing our path as missionaries. We have been having more success with less actives, which is GREAT!! we visit with them and teach them, and I am getting addicted seeing their spark of the gospel being rekindled. 4 of them came back to Church yesterday!!! ITS INCREDIBLE!!!

So the investigator that we have really been trying to work with is ____________. She was found before I got here but she is ready to be baptized. But she is having a hard time. She has said that she knows that the Church is true but when she prays to know, she blocks out the answer because she knows that she will have to act on it. She loves the spirit and recognizes it. She has been out of town all week so we have not been able to see her yet. When she gets back, we are going to talk to her about Faith and acting by faith brings blessings. Hopefully she will open her heart to the Lord and let the Spirit Testify the truth! Keep your fingers crossed!

The ward that we work in is so hilarious. There are 3 families... everyone is related! When we go and visit they will say "oh you know my 3rd cousins nephew, yeah he is the young men's president." haha it's funny, but it makes it hard because everyone is related.  So me and my companion are thinking of ways that we can help the ward get involved in Missionary work. They take such good care of us though! Not a day goes by that we are fed southern food! We have had to keep our other meals basic and less fatty because these guys love their food! haha One family in particular help us out a lot!! The ____________.  The parents LOVE missionary work. The mom served in Argentina and the Dad served somewhere in the states (I think).  In fact we were at their house last night. IT WAS GREAT! So they live out in the "county" (to me the whole city if Cochran in country but they call it down town...) and on their property hatched THOUSANDS of baby frogs! They were everywhere! We were joking that Moses must be sending a famine to Cochran! We were picking them up and they were no bigger than a dime! so CUTE!!!

No news on Visa. But I guess reassignments usually take 1-2 transfers.
Yes I got the Letters with the money! and Conner's Drawings!! I miss that! Send more when you can bud! I actually have it hanging up in the study room! OOOOO draw a dragon and send it to me!!! I miss those pictures!!!

MOTHERS DAY IS COMING!!! And yes it is much longer than 9 minuets! IT's a whole HOUR!!! YAY!!! hahaha we know that we are able to skype but we first have to find a member that has the internet, then see if they have the skyping ability on their computer. I forgot about the time difference.  Ummm what might just happen is that I call you before we skype then actually get on skype :) but plan on it being after Church 12 or 1 for you (so 2 or 3 for me) not sure yet. Our mission president will let us know this week :)
OOO space derby.... sounds like fun.... haha I am sure that it will be great!!!
I'm sad that Conner isn't having a good baseball year. That stinks!! Well keep a positive attitude bud! I know that its hard right know but it will get better! If one thing that I have experienced here on my mission is that you can be put in situations that can be really hard and not enjoyable. Like for example me being here in Georgia. I am having a very hard time here and its hardly EVER the way that I have planned but I have been able to see the reason of why I am here. I have grown a lot and experienced a lot that make me feel better prepared for Argentina. Maybe you are on this team to help bring you teams spirits up? I don't know but I challenge you to find your purpose! As a missionary we have a purpose that we say every morning. Find your purpose for you being on this team! I promise that if you do, you will have a greater joy in the game and in your love for playing the sport!! Your a smart kid, and I know that you can figure it out! Know that I love you and that I am cheering for you! Hey you can brag and say, "Yeah I have a fan that lives clear out in Georgia! yeah I'm that popular!" hahaha no don't say that (even though its true!) Luv you buddy!!
Oh one more thing... I feel extremely bad but I broke the bishops GPS that we use and I am going to replace it so if you see a purchase from Walmart and wonder what the heck I am buying, that's it. I'm so sorry! But I kinday think that the money grandma gave was inspired. She listened to an angel that knew Sister Creason as butter fingers and is charge of the GPS..... nightmare waiting to happen.... :)
Love you all!! and talk to you on Sunday!
Hermama Creason!
